It’s the German term for a little toy with a rounded base that just refuses to stay down when you push it over. This is a little how I have felt my whole life.

Whether it was managing the neurological defect I was born with, beating the stress-induced autoimmune disease that overshadowed my late teens or stepping away from suicide and choosing life - twice - it’s been a journey of growing resilience.
​
These days I am a change-seeker, lifehacker and balance-believer, a lover of both dark and light, an eternal student of life that never wants to stop growing and helping others find their own path!

The world demands so much of us every single day. Balancing work with family, switching between the latest news and ‘being social’, whether in real life or virtually - with so many commitments we make little time to care for our minds and bodies.
Repeatedly ignoring warning signs we continue to make unhealthy choices. A ‘healthy lifestyle’ often seems vague, complicated and time-consuming; it can feel too overwhelming.

True, finding your own healthy balance doesn’t provide a quick-fix miracle cure; however, it can be the key to living your best life.
